Genetic predispositions may attribute to a person’s exercise tolerance or capacity levels. Gene defects may significantly limit the ability to perform certain physical activities and contribute to metabolic energy levels. Molecular makeup may also impact both cardio endurance and ability, because some genes are aligned with a lower exercise capacity.
